2. After typing ~ the SOL session will deactivate on the SOL Target Blade. To make
sure the Target Blade SOL session is deactivated, type the following command:
# ipmitool -I lanplus -L operator -H <SOL Target IP Addr> -U solusername -
P soluserpassword sol deactivate
SOL ise stopped completely and the serial console port is now redirected to the front
panel of the SOL target blade.
11.9 Operating Systems for SOL Client (ipmitool)
The SOL client utility (ipmitool) can be compiled to work with any Linux OS.
